The St. James's Place Charitable Foundation aims to make a positive and lasting difference to people’s lives by awarding grants to small and medium charities, supporting the incredible work they do in their communities every day. The Charitable Foundation has raised more than £144 million since its founding in 1992, and has supported millions of people in the UK, Ireland and internationally.

We believe everybody should have the opportunity to prosper.

The Charitable Foundation harnesses the collective philanthropy of SJP partners, advisers, and employees, with every pound raised matched by St James’s Place.  For the period 2026-2028, funding will be directed to charities delivering vital programmes that improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals and communities.  The current core themes are:

1. Children and young people who are experiencing disadvantage socially or economically, or through living with a disability 
2. End of life cares
3. Living well with cancer 
4. Mental health
5. Financial wellbeing

The Charitable Foundation’s impact is far reaching, helping charity partners to deliver long-term positive change for the people and communities who rely on them:

• Since 1992 it has granted millions of pounds to charities, with more than £5 million being awarded in 2025 alone.
• It provides funding and support to more than 700 charities every year – with approximately 15% of funding reaching good causes overseas.
